I agree, I think that if you can locate a good Vintage Clothing company that is able to supply you with a consistent supply of quality products then you have a good place to start. I do recommend thinking Eco-minded if you will and try to find a good mark-up on something that is recycled or re-used not something that was manufactured overseas using cheap plastic.
